Course Description:  An introduction to the scientific study of behavior, mental process, and the influences of them (e.g. learning, motivation, etc.) 3 credits. This course will introduce students to the study of psychology.  Psychology is an academic and applied discipline that studies concepts such as perception, cognition, learning, intelligence, emotion, and personality.  Psychology also refers to the application of such knowledge to various spheres of human activity including issues related to daily life, social interactions, the treatment of mental health problems, and other issues.
